PEYTON DAVIS

PEYTON DAVIS

FOUNDER AND CHAIR

Peyton is a Consultant in Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, having been in medicine for 25 years. He has worked in the UK, Australia and the US, has been appointed to clinical lead and senior NHS roles, including Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.

In addition, he has 25 years of board experience, 15 of them in charities and foundations.

 As well as being a founding trustee of Reset, he has also represented ICU at a national level with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine. Peyton’s primary focus is the well-being of emergency services and military staff in the context of burnout and preventative strategies.

He continues to practice full-time in ICU in Oxford.

 

DAVID DEUCHAR

DAVID DEUCHAR

TRUSTEE

David served for 18 years in the UK Police Service in various roles and ranks, mostly in South London. He obtained a BSc (Hons) in Policing in 2015, left the Police in 2016 and headed the operations of a Private/Public Sector Partnership in Lagos Nigeria.

David delivered West Africa’s first Joint Emergency Services Command and Control Centre, led Lagos State’s emergency call centre and trained/ mentored Lagos State Government Emergency Management Staff in Major Incident Command and Control.

Upon Davids return to the UK he set up a management consultancy, obtained an MBA in Executive Leadership and Management, and now owns Worcestershire’s leading Domiciliary Care company.

As well as being a founding trustee of Reset, he is also a Presiding Justice in the Family Courts. David is passionate about changing the cultures of the Emergency Services and Military, with a strong belief that they can become healthier workplaces that staff can thrive in.

HELEN DAVIS

TRUSTEE

Helen is a former athlete, having competed at international level in athletics. She volunteers her time athletics coaching and for the British Red Cross, where she has supported fire fighters and victims of trafficking and modern slavery over the last 5 years.

Helen’s main focus is helping families of emergency workers and military staff. She remains active in sport, and competes regularly in OCR (obstacle course racing).

Both Helen and Peyton have particular focuses on activities helping well-being as an alternative to traditional therapies.
