RESET OPEN DAY 8th May 2023

On the 8th May we welcomed our local community to Reset’s Open Day at Mosewick Farm as part of The Big Help Out.

Our aim was to show our community the amazing work that Reset are doing and show them how they can get involved.

It was fantastic to see people bring their family and friends to experience Reset’s magic at our beautiful site. We did not let the weather dampen our spirits!

From wood whittling to den building, to marshmallow toasting, to boundary walking, to meditation, to yoga, and drumming – there was something for everyone to get involved in.

We had a volunteer tent set up with lots of information about Reset, inspiring locals to sign up and help out.

The many ways that volunteers can get involved include:

    • Building dens, yurts, and site projects
    • Gardening
    • Helping at events
    • Fundraising
    • Managing social media
    • Fireside chats
    • Walks and talks

We had some incredible caterers join us for the day: Bob’s Curry Hut, Your Plate Or Mine, and Mill Bank Coffee.

It was great to meet some of our local community, we really appreciated all the support, encouragement, and volunteer sign ups.

Our ethos is to prevent not treat burnout, and to keep well people well, encouraging all our visitors to stop, pause, reset, and recharge.
